Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry (Float Pool)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Schedule: 36–37.5 hours/week (3x12)
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Work Requirements: Every other weekend and holidays required
Floating: May float between affiliated facilities and units

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool in Hyannis, MA. This role requires flexibility and strong clinical expertise to provide high-quality care across multiple units in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Support and guide ancillary staff
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting
• Telemetry experience required
• Experience with cardiac patients preferred

Education & Licensure

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BLS (AHA) required

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• ACLS certification
• Experience in cardiac, oncology, surgical, or orthopedic units
