Location: Columbus, IN
Shift: Day Shift (5x8-Hour)
Schedule: Monday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: 6 Weeks

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Medical Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Columbus, IN.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients for provider visits
• Take and document patient vital signs
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and specimen collection
• Administer vaccines as directed
• Perform EKG and point-of-care (POC) testing
• Support front desk and back-office operations
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Ensure proper patient flow and coordination
• Follow infection control and safety procedures

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience
• Front and back-office experience
• Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience
• EKG and POC testing experience
• EMR documentation experience
• Scheduling and patient rooming experience
• Vital signs measurement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Medical Assistant certification (Strongly Preferred)

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS or CPR certification
• Medical Assistant certification (Preferred)
