Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to support a high-volume acute care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Assemble and prepare instrument trays according to surgical requirements
• Operate sterilization equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to meet case needs

Required Experience & Skills:

• Previous travel experience required
• Strong knowledge of sterile processing workflows and standards
• Experience in acute care or hospital settings
• Familiarity with sterilization equipment and infection control practices
• Knowledge of SPM and robotic instrumentation preferred

Qualifications:

• Sterile Processing certification (CRCST or equivalent) – Preferred
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
