Job Title: Registered Dietitian (RD)
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week (5x8)
Shift: Day Shift (Flexible start between 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM)

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide clinical nutrition services across facility and long-term care (LTC) settings. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assessing patient nutritional needs, developing care plans, and supporting overall patient wellness.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
• Provide medical nutrition therapy and dietary counseling
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor patient progress and adjust dietary plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Support patient education related to diet and nutrition
• Float to other units or affiliated campuses as required

Work Environment

• Opportunities available in both facility and long-term care (LTC) settings
• Primary work location assigned, with flexibility to float between campuses
• Patient population primarily 55+, with exposure to all age groups

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Clinical Dietitian experience required

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Registered Dietitian credentials required
• Florida State License required

Schedule & Additional Details

• Flexible shift start time between 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
• 8.5-hour shifts including a 30-minute lunch break
• Travelers may be required to float to other campuses as needed
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility for travel eligibility
