Job Type: Contract (26 Weeks)

Work Schedule: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)

Location: Playa Vista, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support a high-volume outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will be skilled in clinical and administrative tasks, including venipuncture, patient intake, and EMR documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient intake, vital signs, and clinical documentation
• Conduct venipuncture and blood draws (1–5 vials per patient)
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures
• Manage patient flow in a high-volume clinic environment
• Maintain accurate records using EMR systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
• Float to other clinic locations as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Certifications:

• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
