Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Milan, NM
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 36 hours/week (3x12)
Shift: Flexible (Days/Nights)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a structured clinical setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, administering medications, assisting providers, and ensuring appropriate treatment and referrals.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a commitment to maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and treatment implementation
  • Execute orders from licensed independent providers
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatment procedures
  • Conduct patient assessments and respond to acute and chronic care needs
  • Prepare patients and exam areas for clinical visits and sick calls
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, treatments, and outcomes
  • Perform emergency procedures and coordinate appropriate care or referrals
  • Dispense medications and manage medication administration records
  • Supervise and provide guidance to LPNs and unlicensed staff
  • Maintain accurate, confidential medical records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers
  • Evaluate medical services to ensure appropriate and efficient care delivery
  • Support administrative functions, including medical record reviews and compliance

Required Education

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)

Required Certifications & Licensure

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
  • Valid driver’s license

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Experience in medication administration and patient care coordination
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory standards
