Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) – Travel Assignment
Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)

Shift & Schedule

  • Evening Shift
  • Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Schedule: 5 Days per Week
  • 40 Hours per Week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dependable Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role involves performing high-quality radiographic procedures and supporting ultrasound imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation in compliance with safety standards
  • Prepare and position patients to achieve optimal imaging results
  • Select appropriate ultrasound transducers based on exam requirements
  • Review patient history and clinical data to assist in accurate diagnosis
  • Educate patients on procedures and ensure their comfort and cooperation
  • Monitor patient condition and provide care throughout imaging procedures
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure accurate labeling
  • Maintain detailed and accurate radiology documentation and records
  • Assist physicians with specialized procedures, including needle biopsies
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols
  • Support efficient departmental workflow and operations
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT Registered (or registry eligible)
  • Active state license (if applicable)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
