Work Schedule: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Location: Bloomington, IN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a multi-setting environment. The ideal candidate will work with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases, ensuring accurate imaging and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
• Start IV lines and ensure proper patient preparation
• Operate imaging equipment and process images using PACS
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards
• Provide excellent patient care across various clinical settings

Work Environment:

• Multi-room unit supporting inpatient, outpatient, and ER cases
• Average 13–15 patients per day
• Schedule may vary based on workload

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
• Experience with IV starts and PACS required
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Required Procedure Experience:

• Cardiac imaging
• Bone scans
• Liver/Spleen scans
• Lung scans
• Thyroid studies
• Tumor localization
• Myocardial imaging

Preferred Procedure Experience:

• Brain scans
• Renal flow studies
• SPECT imaging

Certifications:

• BLS certification required
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
