Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Hackensack, NJ

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will work under physician direction to produce accurate diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with department protocols and standards
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Process and review images in a timely manner
• Collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records, logs, and documentation
• Monitor and maintain equipment functionality; report issues as needed
• Ensure adherence to all safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
• Provide excellent patient care and communication throughout procedures
• Assist with departmental workflow and support team operations as needed
• Transport patients safely when required
• Maintain inventory and notify leadership of supply needs

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active state MRI license (or eligibility)
• ARRT (MRI) certification required
• Basic proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
