Location: Sanford, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time | Days (8-hour shifts)

Schedule Details

• 8-hour day shifts (start times between 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
• 5 days per week
• Rotating weekends
• Weekend commitment begins at approximately 4 weekend shifts/month, gradually reducing to 3 and then 2 with tenure
• Weekday time off provided to offset weekend coverage

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $35.77/hr (New Graduate) – $49.18/hr (16+ years of experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
• Shift Differential: Additional $3.00/hr for weekend shifts
• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapist to join a high-performing acute care therapy team within a 221-bed Level II Trauma Center. This role provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment supporting a diverse patient population across orthopedics, neurology, cardiovascular care, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Both experienced therapists and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and functional evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy plans and assistive devices
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams in a trauma-level hospital setting
• Manage caseload prioritization, documentation, and care coordination

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s or higher)
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Open to both experienced clinicians and new graduates
