Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing advanced cardiac procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of complex arrhythmias. You will work collaboratively with electrophysiologists, anesthesia teams, and multidisciplinary staff to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout all phases of electrophysiology procedures
  • Assist with advanced cardiac procedures, including:
    • Pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) insertions
    • Loop recorder placements
    • Catheter ablations
  • Monitor patients intra-procedurally, including sedation management and continuous cardiac rhythm assessment
  • Provide care for high-acuity patients, including ICU, post-surgical, and ventricular assist device (VAD) populations
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure assessments, education, and consent verification
  • Recognize and respond promptly to cardiac emergencies and procedural complications following ACLS protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Ohio or Compact State)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Prior experience in critical care, cardiac nursing, or electrophysiology strongly preferred
