Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, focusing on patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This role requires strong clinical experience, the ability to work independently, and adaptability in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry systems
• Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
• Participate in shift handoffs and care coordination
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (permanent experience required prior to travel)
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact State License (must be in hand at submission)
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to unit needs

Certifications (Required)

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
