Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Orthopedic Care
Location: Paramus & Montvale, NJ (Travel Required Between Locations)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule:

  • 5x8 (Monday–Friday)
  • Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support orthopedic patient care across multiple clinical locations. This role involves providing direct patient care under RN supervision, assisting with preoperative processes, and ensuring high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced orthopedic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Perform patient assessments, including physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive data collection
  • Assist with preoperative assessments and patient preparation
  • Support medication reconciliation and provide patient education
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, ambulation, and meals
  • Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medical records
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment
  • Travel between Paramus and Montvale locations as required

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
  • Active New Jersey LPN license (required)
  • BLS/CPR certification (AHA required)
  • 5+ years of LPN experience preferred
  • Strong orthopedic clinical knowledge

  • Orthopedic patient care experience

  • Ability to communicate clinical protocols clearly and effectively
  • Strong organizational and patient care skills
