• Monday – Friday
• Shift: Day Shift (08:50 AM – 03:40 PM)
• Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Cross-Categorical) to support students with diverse learning needs in a structured academic environment. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction, promote academic and social-emotional development, and support inclusion within general education settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction in a cross-categorical special education setting
• Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with guidelines
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic and behavioral records
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities
• Foster a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities

Required Qualifications

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students with diverse disabilities preferred
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
