Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in managing patients transitioning from critical care, with the ability to adapt to a rotating shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to stepdown/progressive care patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient status closely
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Patient Population

• Adult Stepdown / Progressive Care patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience
• Minimum 18 months of permanent RN experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
• Active RN License (Ohio or Compact State)
• BLS (AHA or equivalent) – Required
• ACLS – Required
• NIHSS Certification – Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in PCU / Progressive Care settings
