Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU) to provide high-acuity patient care in a critical care environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing complex cardiac cases and adaptable to a rotating shift schedule based on unit needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill cardiac patients
• Monitor and manage hemodynamic status, ventilators, and cardiac support devices
• Interpret ECG rhythms and respond to acute changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and advanced cardiac therapies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Patient Population

• Adult Cardiovascular Intensive Care patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience
• Minimum 18 months of permanent RN experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
• Active RN License (Ohio or Compact State)
• BLS (AHA or equivalent) – Required
• ACLS – Required
• NIHSS Certification – Required
