Job Title: System Software Programmer – Project Lead
Location: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced System Software Programmer – Project Lead to drive the design, development, and enhancement of mission-critical applications. This role involves leading large-scale application development efforts, supporting case management systems, and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-level software systems
  • Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and MS SQL Server
  • Drive enhancements to case management systems supporting social services programs
  • Design and integrate assessment tools into existing enterprise platforms
  • Develop and support bi-directional system interfaces with external agencies
  • Participate in system design, architecture planning, and implementation of regulatory requirements
  • Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of applications
  • Lead reporting solutions and federal reporting integrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical stakeholders

Technical Environment

  • MS SQL Server 2019 (Enterprise)
  • Microsoft IIS 8.5
  • Visual Studio 2019 / 2022
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Technologies: C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SSRS

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale software systems using .NET technologies
  • 5+ years of experience developing data-driven applications using MS SQL Server
  • 5+ years of experience building web and Windows-based applications
  • Strong experience with:
    • N-tier architecture
    • Scalable system design
    • Dynamic content development
    • Complex security models and implementations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in human services or child welfare systems
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with performance, security, and regression testing tools
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Entity Framework 6
    • ASP.NET MVC (3+)
