Job Title: Sterilization Technician
Location: Springfield, MA 01103
Job Type: Per Diem (Shifts based on operational needs)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to support clinical operations by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and treatment areas are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained in accordance with strict infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment following established infection control protocols
• Prepare treatment rooms with properly sterilized tools and materials
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor and document sterilization cycles, maintaining accurate records
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the sterilization area
• Dispose of hazardous and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety regulations
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment

Skills & Experience

• Required: 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
• Preferred: Previous experience in dental or medical sterilization

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications

• Preferred: Dental Assistant Certification
