Job Title: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: TBD (Day/Night based on facility needs)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) with a strong cardiac patient population. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing high-acuity patients and be comfortable working with cardiac drips and telemetry.

Patient Population / Diagnoses:

• STEMI / NSTEMI
• Chest Pain (C/P)
• Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTS) patients
• Patients requiring cardiac monitoring and interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for high-acuity cardiac patients
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips including:
  • Milrinone
  • Dobutamine
  • Vasopressors
• Continuous telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Additional Responsibilities:

• May be assigned to telemetry patients within the same unit (lower acuity as needed)

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a similar-sized facility
• Must have documented PCU experience in work history
• Active RN license (state-specific or compact as applicable)
• BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
