Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Elmhurst, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 35 hours/week
Schedule: Includes weekends and holidays (as required)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $74.35/hour
• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,974/week
• Weekly Stipend: $1,414

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general, pediatric, and vascular ultrasound while ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients
• Conduct vascular ultrasound studies as required
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation of findings
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment
• Document procedures and results in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Adhere to departmental protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in training and onboarding, including EMR system education

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – ARDMS required
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program
• Experience in acute care/hospital setting required
• Proficiency in general, pediatric, and vascular ultrasound

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
• Strong computer and documentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism
