Job Type: Travel Contract (8 Weeks)
Shift: Night Shift

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced General Surgery unit. This role requires clinical expertise, strong critical thinking, and the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for a diverse patient population in alignment with professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, age-specific, and culturally competent patient care
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical nursing standards
• Adapt to changes in patient care needs and clinical environment

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing (ADN or equivalent)
• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact State)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous experience in Medical-Surgical or General Surgery units
