Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Histotechnician to join a laboratory team supporting diagnostic and clinical services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in histology procedures and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in specimen processing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized histology procedures including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining
• Prepare high-quality slides for microscopic examination by pathologists
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and documentation of specimens
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment used in histology processes
• Follow established laboratory safety protocols and quality control standards
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to specimen preparation
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow and turnaround times

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Histotechnician or in a related laboratory role
• ASCP certification required (HT or HTL preferred)
• Strong knowledge of histology techniques and laboratory procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
