Location: Sugar Land, TX
Job Type: Contract (Temp-to-Hire)
Duration: 12 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Hours: 42.5 Hours/Week

Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to collaborate with physicians and the surgical team in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process to support surgical procedures, ensure patient safety, and provide exceptional perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive pre-op, intra-op, and post-op nursing care
• Assist surgeons during operating room procedures
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to OR safety protocols
• Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures
• Accurately document patient care in medical records
• Collaborate effectively with surgical and healthcare teams
• Provide patient and family education as needed
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Active RN License (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• 5+ years of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in General, GYN, ENT, Orthopedic, Urology, and Vascular procedures
• Experience with Robotics and Mako Robotics systems
• Experience with Total Joint Replacements

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Neuro spine surgery
• Experience with Pediatric cases
