Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Paramus, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role involves supporting care delivery, assisting with daily patient needs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will contribute to patient care plans, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN
• Collect, monitor, and document patient data (physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive)
• Assist patients with daily activities including hygiene, mobility, and meals
• Perform pre-operative, post-operative, and post-mortem care
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes
• Maintain a safe and responsive patient environment, including answering call lights
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Deliver patient-centered care based on age, cultural background, and individual needs

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong orthopedic knowledge and clinical expertise
• Ability to understand and communicate clinical protocols effectively

Certifications & Licensure

• Active New Jersey LPN License
• BLS/CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
