Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Measure, record, and monitor vital signs
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
• Accurately document care provided and report any changes in resident condition
• Follow all infection control guidelines and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a variable schedule
• Dependable with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
• Ability to follow established care procedures and maintain accurate documentation
