Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join an Emergency Float Pool team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across multiple units in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and committed to maintaining safety and dignity in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, bathing, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Act as a safety companion for patients requiring close observation
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes
• Participate in patient rounds and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and organizational policies
• Support a positive and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Active New York State CNA certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience required
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
