Job Title: RN House Supervisor

Location: New York, NY 10035

Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Alternating Weekends Required)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to oversee hospital operations during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for ensuring quality patient care, supporting clinical staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and serving as a key point of coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision across hospital units during assigned shifts
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including Joint Commission requirements
• Support and guide nursing staff to maintain high-quality patient care
• Act as a liaison between clinical teams and hospital leadership
• Address operational challenges and ensure appropriate staffing coverage
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and efficient workflow

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of Joint Commission standards

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required via NYSED)
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA PALS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
