Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Monroe, GA 30655
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | Day Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join an outpatient orthopedic setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care, improving patient mobility, and supporting recovery through evidence-based treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Utilize therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention, mobility improvement, and home exercise programs
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment
• Manage a caseload of approximately 12–14 patients per day (including double-booked follow-ups)
• Meet productivity expectations of approximately 60 patient visits per week

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Georgia (required)
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred)
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• CPR/BLS certification required
