Job Title: Physical Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Hampton, GA 30228
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | Day Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapist to join a dynamic outpatient orthopedic clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
• Manage a caseload of approximately 12–14 patients per day, including double-booked follow-ups
• Meet productivity expectations of approximately 60 visits per week

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license (state-specific requirement applies)
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred)
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CPR/BLS certification required
