Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Capital Sourcing Specialist to support procurement and sourcing initiatives for capital equipment and related services. This role is critical in driving cost savings, optimizing supplier relationships, and supporting large-scale construction and expansion projects across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiations and manage procurement of capital equipment and services
  • Source and evaluate manufacturers and suppliers for key product categories
  • Review and leverage group purchasing agreements to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Analyze supplier spend data using Google tools and reporting systems
  • Utilize financial systems such as PeopleSoft for procurement tracking and reporting
  • Partner with internal teams to identify and execute cost reduction strategies
  • Prepare and present savings analyses, sourcing strategies, and contract recommendations
  • Track, measure, and report on savings initiatives regularly
  • Assist with equipment planning and specifications for construction and expansion projects
  • Collaborate with planners, architects, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate tracking of project equipment and ensure timely procurement
  • Develop and manage RFPs, bid evaluations, and vendor performance reviews
  • Source suppliers both domestically and internationally
  • Support supplier selection and contract negotiations through structured sourcing processes
  • Coordinate with Legal, Biomed, and Accounts Payable teams for contract execution
  • Ensure procurement and contract details are accurate and compliant
  • Maintain proper documentation within contract management systems
  • Identify alternative sourcing options during shortages, recalls, or supply disruptions
  • Support sustainability and organizational initiatives as applicable
  • Manage disposition or liquidation of surplus or obsolete equipment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred)
  • Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) required at hire or within 12 months
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
