Location: Harrisburg, PA (Candidates must reside in the Greater Harrisburg / Mechanicsburg / Central PA area)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Type: Contract

Position Overview

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking a motivated and hands-on Network Engineer to support enterprise edge networking operations within a large-scale infrastructure environment. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing network systems across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, SD-WAN edge devices, wireless systems, and related hardware/software
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues using industry-standard tools
• Utilize Cisco CLI for configuration and diagnostics
• Support network deployments, upgrades, and change management processes
• Manage and resolve incidents through ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure network stability
• Assist in implementing new networking technologies and pilot programs
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configurations
• Ensure network security standards and compliance requirements are met
• Provide support to remote IT teams and business stakeholders
• Participate in evaluating and recommending new technologies and solutions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network routing and switching
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and CLI
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA certification (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies
• Familiarity with network automation and monitoring tools

Additional Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally if needed
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and work with network equipment (including ladders)
