Job Title: Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse
Location: Kansas City, MO
Shifts Available: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) or 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

 Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $34.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (for eligible candidates)
• Shift Differential: Additional $4.00/hour for nights and weekends
• On-Call: Required for select hours with dedicated support staff available
• Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case basis)

 Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a high-performing interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, acute care environment.  Key Responsibilities

• Perioperative Care: Deliver safe and effective patient care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and critical thinking.
• Patient Preparation: Manage preoperative care including medications, IV therapy, and surgical site verification (briefing, time-out, debriefing).
• Clinical Monitoring: Assess patients before, during, and after procedures, documenting all care accurately.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with surgeons, providers, and surgical technologists to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.
• Patient Advocacy & Education: Educate patients and families about procedures, conditions, and post-operative care.
• Emergency Response: Identify and respond promptly to emergencies within the operating room setting.

 Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of recent OR RN experience (Scrub and/or Circulating) in an acute care setting required
• Education: Nursing Diploma or higher degree in Nursing
• License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certification: BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire
• Skills: Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a patient-centered approach
