Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week (7.5 hours/day)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support a High-Risk Obstetrics (OB) Clinic in an outpatient setting. This role involves providing specialized maternal care, performing fetal monitoring, and supporting patients with high-risk pregnancies. The ideal candidate will also assist in training and precepting staff within the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fetal monitoring and assess maternal-fetal health in a high-risk OB clinic
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex obstetric conditions
• Assist with clinical procedures including IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation as required
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide guidance and precepting support to new and training staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child Health experience
• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
• Active New York State RN License (must be verifiable)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-risk or outpatient OB settings
• Prior precepting or mentoring experience
