Job Title: Physical Therapist – Rehabilitation
Location: Chatham, MA 02633
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | Rotating Day Shifts (Mon–Fri)

  • 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    Note: No weekends or holidays required

Pay Rate: $60 – $68 per hour


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services to both adult and pediatric populations. This role focuses on restoring function, improving mobility, and preventing disability through evidence-based therapeutic practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable functional goals
  • Perform diagnostic assessments of muscle strength, nerve function, joint mobility, and overall physical capability
  • Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care techniques
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding patient care and discharge planning
  • Supervise and provide direction to Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students
  • Support onboarding and training of new staff as needed
  • Ensure adherence to departmental policies, safety standards, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in meetings, in-service training, and continuing education programs
  • Maintain daily productivity and billing records
  • Deliver excellent service to patients, families, and team members

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Certified Clinical Specialist designation
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert within a specialized area of rehabilitation
  • Experience supporting program development, staff education, and specialty service oversight
