Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $56.74 – $85.11/hour (based on years of experience)
  • Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)
  • Placement Fee: 20% of offered annualized salary

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a dynamic healthcare setting. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing nursing staff, and driving performance improvement initiatives. The Nurse Manager will play a key role in maintaining patient safety standards and supporting staff development.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate nursing care delivery within the inpatient rehab unit
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and performance evaluations
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
  • Participate in budgeting, financial planning, and resource management
  • Lead and support performance improvement and quality initiatives
  • Maintain 24-hour accountability for unit operations and patient outcomes

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – required

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience
  • 3–5 years of leadership or management experience (preferred)

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or Compact) – required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required within 12 months of hire
  • CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) – preferred (required within 3 years of hire)
