Job Title: Endoscopy Technician

Location: Fort Myers, FL 33912
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks, with possibility of extension)

Compensation

• Local Pay: $1,350 – $1,550 per week (based on experience)
• Travel Pay: $1,500 – $1,850 per week (based on experience)

Schedule

• Shift: 12-Hour Day Shift
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Job Summary

The Endoscopy Technician supports the endoscopy team by preparing procedure rooms, assisting during procedures, and ensuring proper cleaning and sterilization of equipment. This role is essential in maintaining patient safety, infection control standards, and efficient workflow within the endoscopy unit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain endoscopy procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is properly set up and functional
• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures by managing instruments and supplies
• Support patient care by assisting with preparation, positioning, and comfort during procedures
• Perform cleaning, high-level disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopes and accessories
• Conduct leak testing and ensure proper scope reprocessing
• Maintain accurate sterilization logs and documentation
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy Technician experience (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Experience working with Epic EMR system
