Job Title: Support Staff – Educational Setting

Location: Tucson, AZ

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
• Total: 35 hours/week
• No weekends required
• School calendar applies; resource may be off during school breaks

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated support staff member to assist in a blind education department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children and a strong ability to provide a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day activities supporting students in the classroom
• Provide guidance and support tailored to the needs of students
• Help with educational materials, classroom organization, and learning activities
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff
• Support students during school breaks, as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure smooth operation of the department

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Reliable and punctual
• Adaptable to a school environment and schedule
