Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12s, Night Shift


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a dynamic clinical team in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will deliver both critical and non-critical respiratory care services across all age groups using a variety of invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary techniques. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and monitor their progress and response to respiratory therapies
  • Perform both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Provide respiratory care services in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Accurately document all patient care activities in the medical record
  • Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, and home care practices
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams regarding patient cardiopulmonary status
  • Precept and mentor students and new staff members
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training, and competency evaluations
  • Take on charge or team lead responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Active state licensure to practice respiratory care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
  • Strong critical care knowledge related to cardiopulmonary disease

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of clinical experience
  • Membership with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (NICU experience preferred)
