Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Associate (PCA) to join a clinical care team in a hospital setting. In this role, you will support registered nurses in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring a safe and clean environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations)
  • Document intake/output and patient pain levels
  • Assist with clinical procedures such as specimen collection, venipuncture, EKGs, and compression device application
  • Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including feeding, bathing, toileting, and mobility
  • Assist with patient ambulation and positioning
  • Support dietary needs by delivering meal trays and assisting with menu selection
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment
  • Perform one-to-one patient observation when required (e.g., safety monitoring)
  • Follow infection control and isolation protocols
  • Conduct routine patient rounding and report concerns to nursing staff
  • Transport patients, specimens, and equipment as needed
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Respond to call systems and communicate effectively with team members and visitors

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • BLS or AHA Heartsaver Certification (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent hospital CNA/PCA experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform patient care duties

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–9 months of additional healthcare experience in an acute care setting
  • Experience working in specialty units or hospital environments
