Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay range: $30 to $35/hr
weekly: $1,125 to $1,312.5


Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students within a school-based setting. This role involves working collaboratively with behavioral specialists and educators to implement structured behavior intervention strategies that promote student growth, independence, and success in the classroom.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Provide one-on-one and small group behavioral support to students
  • Accurately collect, track, and document behavioral data and student progress
  • Assist in maintaining a structured, positive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques and assist with crisis intervention when necessary
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with applicable regulations and policies
  • Adhere to school policies, safety procedures, and established behavior protocols
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of school-based experience (required)
  • CPI certification (or willingness to obtain upon onboarding)
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively support children and adolescents
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
