Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $70/hour
• Weekly Gross: Approximately $2,700
• Weekly Stipend: $1,693.88

Schedule

• Shift: Nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Job Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to departmental protocols. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and compliance with radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans using appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment
• Administer contrast or radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by a physician
• Maintain accurate documentation including logs, manuals, and charge records
• Report equipment issues and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Perform quality assurance and safety testing procedures
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols in accordance with ALARA principles
• Manage patient imaging data and ensure availability for radiologist interpretation
• Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses prior to procedures
• Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries and dosage levels before administration

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a CT Technologist
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols
• Understanding of radiation safety standards and compliance
