Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Martinsville, IN
Job Type: Contract (9 Weeks)
Schedule:

  • Monday–Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Pay Rate: $24/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical procedures, and front-office coordination to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and room patients while ensuring a positive patient experience
  • Take and record vital signs accurately
  • Perform venipuncture and assist with blood draws
  • Administer vaccines and support clinical procedures
  • Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
  • Assist with patient scheduling, phone calls, and front desk operations
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
  • Support both front and back office operations as needed
  • Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • Occupational Health experience
  • Experience in both front-office and back-office settings

Required Skills

  • Patient rooming and vital signs collection
  • Phlebotomy and specimen handling
  • EKG and POC testing
  • Scheduling and administrative coordination
  • Strong computer and documentation skills
  • BLS or CPR certification
