Position: CT Technologist – Part-Time (Contract)

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11234
Duration: 9 Weeks (with possibility of extension)
Shift: Varied

Compensation:

• Local Pay: $58 – $68/hour (based on experience)
• Travel Pay: $70 – $86/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Part-Time CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety, maintain imaging accuracy, and comply with all regulatory and radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure diagnostic image quality
• Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment
• Administer contrast or radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by physicians
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and compliance records
• Perform quality assurance and safety testing
• Follow radiation safety guidelines in compliance with ALARA principles
• Manage and retrieve patient imaging data for radiologist interpretation
• Order and verify radiopharmaceutical doses prior to administration
• Assess and respond to patient needs before, during, and after procedures

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience – required

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT) – required
• ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT – required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – required

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and procedures
• Ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in imaging
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
