Job Summary

The Senior Applications Analyst – Epic Beacon is responsible for the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of oncology-focused healthcare information systems. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to design solutions, configure Epic modules, and ensure efficient system performance in complex healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

System Implementation & Configuration

• Configure and maintain Epic Beacon modules
• Support implementation and optimization of oncology-related workflows
• Customize system configurations based on business and clinical requirements

Analysis & Problem Solving

• Analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
• Evaluate multiple factors to troubleshoot and resolve system challenges
• Ensure system stability, performance, and reliability

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams
• Gather and translate business requirements into system solutions
• Provide guidance and support to end users

System Support & Maintenance

• Provide ongoing application support and enhancements
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Epic Beacon Certification (required)
• Experience supporting oncology workflows within Epic systems
• Strong experience in system implementation and application support
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large healthcare systems or academic/university environments
• Experience with oncology workflows such as transfusion scheduling
• Familiarity with healthcare IT operations and clinical systems
