Job Title: Director of Emergency Services

Schedule: Day Shift | No Weekends
Salary Range: $78,894 – $140,000 annually
Incentive Bonus: 17.5% – 26.25%

The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and performance of the Emergency Department. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while overseeing daily operations, staffing, budgeting, and strategic growth initiatives.
The Director will collaborate closely with nursing leadership and physician partners to drive operational excellence, improve patient outcomes, and support departmental expansion.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Promote evidence-based clinical practices
Monitor patient safety, quality metrics, and performance indicators
Lead initiatives to improve patient throughput and experience
Oversee daily Emergency Department operations
Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
Support workforce planning and productivity optimization
Ensure readiness for department growth and expansion
Develop and manage departmental budgets
Analyze financial performance and address variances
Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies
Lead, mentor, and develop clinical and support staff
Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and collaboration
Oversee performance management and succession planning
Partner with executive leadership and medical staff
Bachelor’s Degree required (or active plan to obtain)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum 1+ year of leadership experience required
3+ years of leadership experience preferred
Recent Emergency Department leadership experience strongly preferred
Proven track record of measurable performance improvements
Active RN license (or compact state eligibility) required
