Pay Rate: $80.00 – $85.00/hour (based on experience)
Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $1,700 – $1,900
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging. This role requires adherence to safety standards, accurate documentation, and excellent patient care throughout the imaging process.
Perform CT procedures following prescribed imaging protocols
Adjust kV and mA settings to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Conduct daily quality control and equipment calibration checks
Administer contrast materials as ordered, following safety protocols
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Maintain accurate documentation including logs, reports, and charge entries
Follow radiation safety standards, including ALARA principles
Manage imaging data for proper storage and radiologist review
Order, receive, and verify radiopharmaceuticals as per guidelines
Ensure compliance with regulatory and departmental policies
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T)
Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
ARRT Certification in CT (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and equipment
Ability to maintain high image quality and diagnostic accuracy
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
Attention to detail with accurate documentation and compliance adherence
