Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN / Day Shift
Location: Yuma, AZ 85365
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) | PRN (As Needed)
Pay Rate: $60 – $63/hour
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
12.5-hour shifts
PRN schedule (hours not guaranteed)
Potential for full-time hours based on facility needs (not guaranteed)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN contract role in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure residents receive comprehensive medical and personal support.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed within scope of practice
Perform initial nursing assessments for newly admitted residents
Assist with MDS assessments, care plans, and periodic reviews
Monitor and document changes in patient conditions and responses to treatment
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care teams
Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care
Supervise and support nursing assistants and support staff
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards
Participate in staff training and quality improvement initiatives
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or compact state)
Minimum 1+ year of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
Knowledge of geriatric nursing practices
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Understanding of pharmacology and patient care planning
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
