Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Orono, ME 04473

Compensation:

  • Local: $15.00 – $25.00/hour (based on experience)

  • Travel: $25.00 – $35.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

  • 5 Days per Week

  • Day Shift

  • Shift Timing: 6:30 AM – 2:45 PM

  • Hours: 8 hours per shift (~40 hours/week)


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team in Orono, ME. The CNA will provide hands-on care and support to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, ensuring comfort, safety, and quality care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Support mobility, transfers, and proper positioning of residents

  • Monitor and record vital signs; report any changes to nursing staff

  • Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

  • Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs

  • Support nursing staff with routine care tasks and procedures

  • Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Follow all infection control and safety protocols


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent – Preferred

Certifications:

  • Active CNA Certification – Required

  • BLS Certification – Preferred

  • COVID-19 Vaccination – Required

Experience:

  • New graduates are welcome (training provided)

  • Prior CNA or patient care experience – Preferred

  • SNF or long-term care experience – Preferred
