Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (18:30 – 07:00)
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (with possible extension)
Travel Rate: $58–$75/hr (based on experience)
Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with specialized ECMO experience to support adult critical care patients. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating ECMO machines and managing high-acuity respiratory cases.
Minimum 2 years of RRT experience
Minimum 1 year of ECMO Specialist experience
Hands-on ECMO machine experience required
Adult Critical Care experience required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
Active State License required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Endotracheal tube management and suctioning
Intubation assist and extubation
Nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning
Tracheostomy care and suctioning
Pulmonary hygiene and sputum specimen collection
ARDS, aspiration, pneumonia
ECMO and COVID patients
Bronchoscopy support
Fresh tracheostomy care
Bronchodilators (Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent)
Steroids (Flovent, Pulmicort)
Mucomyst, Racemic epinephrine
Nitric Oxide (INO), Inhaled Flolan
Tobramycin, Xopenex, Spiriva
Aerosol delivery systems (mask, trach setup)
Nebulizers (cold, heated, ultrasonic, T-piece, trach collar)
Oxygen therapy (HFNC, ET tube, portable oxygen, ECMO protocols)
BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV
Vent troubleshooting (high-pressure alarms)
Mechanical ventilation weaning
Patient transport (intra- and inter-facility)
