Position Title: Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RNUM) – Nursing Home
Location: Camden, ME 04843

Compensation:

  • Local Pay Rate: $45 – $55/hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

  • 5 Days per Week

  • 8-Hour Shifts (Approximately 40 hours/week)

  • Shift Options:

    • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RNUM) to lead daily nursing operations within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, supervising clinical staff, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal resident outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the assigned nursing unit

  • Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality care in accordance with clinical standards

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams

  • Monitor patient conditions and ensure timely interventions

  • Conduct routine rounds and address resident/family concerns

  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation

  • Assist with staffing coordination and scheduling needs

  • Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards

  • Participate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Provide staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active RN License (Required)

  • BLS Certification (Required)

  • ACLS Certification (Preferred)

  • COVID-19 Vaccination (Required)

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of nursing experience (Required)

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience (Preferred)

  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care experience (Strongly Preferred)
